British Military Knives
Below are some of the military knives that we offer along with current prices
Fairbairn-Sykes Commando knife, 3rd pattern
The iconic 3rd pattern Fairbairn-Sykes Commando fighting knife from J. Nowill & Sons of Sheffield, England. This knife is a simplified, streamlined version of the 1st & 2nd patterns of the FS knife. The 3rd pattern was introduced because the war effort needed a simpler, cheaper & quicker to make version of the original FS knife which was thought to be too intricate in design and both expensive and complicated to manufacture. This pattern, the final version of the FS knife, was issued during WWII to Commandos and members of the Parachute Regiment. It has continued to be issued to members of the Royal Marine Commandos and the Para Regt. ever since.Specs

Fairbairn-Sykes Commando knife, 2nd pattern
From J. Nowill & Sons of Sheffield, England, the 2nd pattern FS knife is closer to the original design concept of Fairbairn and Sykes than the later 3rd pattern. It has a knurled brass handle shaped to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand. The pommel nut is rounded and shaped for an aesthetically pleasing finish. The blade is polished with a needle point and the edges are sharpened although not razor sharp as it was intended for thrusting, not cutting. Overall, the quality, fit and finish of this knife is superior to that of the later 3rd pattern design. If you want the best, this is the knife for you!Specs
